Conference Registration

Please note that registration for the 14th International Gothic Association conference closed on the 15th of June. For any queries, please visit our official registration website:

The conference rates are as follows:

  • Full Delegate: £250 (access to all conference days)
  • Post-Graduate / Unwaged: £180 (access to all conference days)
  • Day Delegate: £120 (access to one conference day only)
  • Friday Conference Dinner: £60 (dinner at the Hilton Hotel Manchester, includes arrival drink, three-course dinner and wine)

Please note that the full-delegate, post-graduate/unwaged and day-delegate rates do not include the conference dinner. This needs to be purchased separately.

Students will need to show proof of student status (student ID, letter, etc.) upon arrival at the conference.

The final programme will be made available through this website by end of June. Please note that we cannot accept requests for presenting on specific days or for panel changes.

IGA Membership

Please note that IGA membership is compulsory for attendance to the conference. We are requesting that all delegates produce a receipt as proof of IGA membership upon arrival in July. They will be able to receive this upon purchasing membership from the IGA’s website, which can be accessed here.

The fees packages are:

Partial membership: this basic package includes membership to the IGA, including the opportunity to register for the International Association Conference. The cost is £6 (student/unwaged) or £11 (salaried).

Full membership: This package includes membership to the IGA and annual subscription to the journal Gothic Studies. The cost is £45 (student/unwaged) or £51 (salaried).
