Marketing Manchester Convention Bureau is the official accommodation provider for the 14th International Gothic Association conference.

All rooms are held on an on-line system, allowing you to book and secure your own accommodation using either pro-forma invoices or credit/debit card. If you require any assistance with your reservation, support is available via the Accommodation Booking Team.

Staying on Campus

UPDATE: Please note that the deadline for campus accommodation bookings was end of May. 

We are also offering delegates the opportunity to book some limited university room accommodation at the Vine House, Birley residences at a discounted conference rate. The Core Accommodation Package includes en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation on the core conference nights – Tuesday 31st July, Wednesday 1st August and Thursday 2nd August – for £178.20. The Core Package can only be booked when registering for the conference via the official registration page:

It is also possible to book the following add-ons: bed and breakfast accommodation for Monday 30th July (£59.40), bed and breakfast accommodation for Friday 3rd August (£59.40) and bed (no breakfast) accommodation for Saturday 4th of August (£50.40). These options will be offered to delegates when registering via the registration page.

Please note that the Vine House building is a 10-minute walk away from the conference building. In the campus map you can download here, Vine House is marked ‘L’ and the Business School (conference venue) is marked ‘6’.

Please note that places for university accommodation are strictly limited to 150 rooms and that these are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
